As long as I remember I have been living with Jesus. So it's
clear for me what Jesus has in store for my life. It will be
centered around prayer, prophecy and the unity
of the christians.
I was very surprised when a few years ago some new
things were
added. In July 2000 I was in Lüdenscheid on a seminar about prophecy.
He I got a calling to go into
the nations. All my life I was afraid of that Jesus one
day would call me as a missionary. And now I had to realise that
exactly this had happened. Not only one nation but the whole
world. Who would this look like?
In 2005 I decided to just
go. I could wait and wait and nothing would happen.
By going I would find out if the calling was real
and how it would look like in detail.
I noticed that
God already had spoken to me about the nations in
certain ways - I never connected it with me. In 1995 there
was a conference in Holland called Healing
for the Nations. That
phrase never left me. All the time when the Bible talks about the
nations, especially the healing of the nations I was deeply touched.
So I went to different trips with mixed emotions and impressions.
It has changed me and I got more and more a heart for the nations
and the reluctance is diminishing. It is worthy to leave behind
all securities and to walk on water. And indeed Jesus provides
and does miracles.
Though I have made some trips there still is no answer
how it will look like in detail. But I realised also that
Jesus has a lot of time for me getting into my calling
and I can be very relaxed.
Then the angel showed me the river
of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God
and of the Lamb
down the middle of the great street of the city. On each
side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit,
yielding its fruit every month.
And the leaves of the tree are for the
healing of the nations. (Revelation 22:1+ 2)
